CPA Exam Countdown
Pick your CPA exam date. We'll give you the days remaining, your study runway in weeks, and a per-week question target so you walk in with a finished question bank.
How the recommendation works
The AICPA does not publish an official study-hours guideline, but the most-cited industry consensus is 80 to 120 hours per section, with FAR typically the most demanding and ISC often the lightest. Our calculator spreads ~100 hours across your runway and converts the AICPA Blueprint emphasis into a per-week MCQ target. If your runway is short, the tool flags it instead of pretending fewer hours will be enough.
Why a question-bank target matters more than a study-hours target
Hours studied is a vanity metric — completed practice questions with reviewed explanations is the metric that actually correlates with passing. Most candidates who pass have worked through 1,000-2,000 MCQs and 30-60 TBSs per section, regardless of which review course they used.
